Answering Questions Part 1

Hey y'all. A while ago, I asked people to post any questions they had for me about any of the AFTER THE FALLses or EVERYBODY'S DEAD.

Here's the first 6 questions answered!

I am sorry I'm not really eloquent, I am super tired. Towards the end I ramble a whole lot.

Topics discussed include Kate, Women in ATF, more Kate, my sideburns, ANGEL/SPIKE ATF complementing each other, and my sideburns again.

Anywhere, here you go!

Great podcast. I'm looking forward to hearing the next part. Oh, and a friend of mine just got a Betta George tattoo, in the Franco Urru style. It looks so awesome.

Nice podcast!

The ending of "Pride of Baghdad'' hit me hard too, as did a couple of parts in "Watchmen." Comics are really great, I'm glad the Buffy/Angelverse has led me to them!

The first time I read the 5 page preview of AtF I got goosebumps, Angel's voice was so right on, and the dragon/hell reveals were so awesome.

Look forward to the rest.

File doesn't work at all for me. Windows Media Player says it has an extension (mp3) that doesn't match the file. QuickTime says it doesn't recognize it. I downloaded iTunes, which doesn't even load it. Confusion.

Can someone who was able to get it please send me the file via e-mail? pshand05@molloy.edu

Here's my friend's tattoo. I asked her to send me a photo of it, but her digital is kinda crappy. In person, you can really see all the details and the colours aren't so dark. She's planning on doing a whole Spike: Asylum "mural" on her calf, but she was scared of how much pain was involved so she got George first. I think she's planning on adding more fins to George to flow into the "background" around the other characters. It was drawn and inked by the friendly folks at Fresh Inks in Murfreesboro, TN.

Hey, everyone:

Valerie from Whedonesque helped me out, and there IS a way to listen to it on QUICKTIME. The extension has to be changed to mp4. Valerie gave directions over at the Whedonesque post for the podcast. Check it out! Worked for me. :]

Hey Brian:

Again, awesome podcast. At the Charlie Manson bit, I was all "lol." The way you ended, talking about how big things are coming for everyone invested in these characters, has got me beyond amped. I can't wait until Issue #9. And #8, to see how the Gunn thing went down.

Hey brian! Nice podcast. Can't wait for #'s 8 & 9. While you were talking, I had a question whose answer is probably too complicated to answer here, but I'll ask anyway (if only for possible confirmation that there is an answer). So, Buffy and Angel. How exactly do the two comics work together? As you said, the characters are thinking of each other in all probability, but what effects have the major events in each had on the other? And on a more technical note, when on a rough timeline do they take place, relative to the other?

Sorry.

File doesn't read. :( Read the transcript instead. :)

The directors cut would be great but its too expensive already for me. Hopefully I can get Spike after the Fall when it comes out along with Angel: ATF.

Good luck with the comic Mr. Lynch.

So its Gunn's arc next right? Will Angel's arc also be told in the next comic? Who else? Could it be Grue, Nina or Gwen next? How about the dragon? :)

Gah, I was afraid that Helium Dog had never gotten released, but couldn't find anywhere that said if it was available or wasn't. I'd been casually searching since I got into the wide-range of the Askewniverse.

Thanks for doing this Brian!

Always great to hear what you have to say to the fans, and it's so clear how much you enjoy doing this book. As usual you are funny throughout, which makes the podcast even more enjoyable. Way to get us all revved up for what's to come there at the end too. Can't wait for the next podcast!

That was great. Enjoyed it enormously and now cannot wait for the next issue to come out.

Thanks enisy!

No problem. Glad to be of use. :)

Thanks, Enisy, for the transcript. I don't do well with techno-mumbo-jumbo. :)

Brian, that was great! Your blogs help quench my thirst as I eagerly await my Angel & Spike copies in the mail. Heard some great things about the Director's Cut... good thing I bought one!

Have a good one!

If the file isn't working for you, change the file extension from .mp3 to .m4a; that did the trick for me.

Also, thank you Brian, for doing this!
