Great week coming up!

Two of the things I'm most proud of (comics-wise, of course) come out this Wednesday:

1. The ANGEL:AFTER THE FALL vol 1 hardcover. So jam-packed with great stuff. Extras out the adorable little wazoo. I think you guys will love.

2. SPIKE:AFTER THE FALL # 1. My favorite SPIKE series thus far. Franco and I are bringing our A-game. I hope you enjoy it. Preview of the first five pages are over at newsarama.com, do please check it out!

Very, very much can't wait. Been yearning for the Angel hardcover for a long while, so that's awesome that we're about to get it. And I can't wait for the glorious return of Lynch/Urru action in the Spike series.

Gah I'm so excited! The HC looks just stunning, and I am always thrilled at new Buffyverse comics, so bring on Blondie Bear!

The preview was also something to get amped about. Loved what Illyria wanted to do with the injured chubby kid and how shocked Spike was at that. Can't wait to have the book in my hands!

Glad the hardcover is finally coming out! I was a bummed when it kept getting pushed back. Also super excited for Spike After the Fall. Can't wait for wednesday!

I'm so excited for Spike: ATF! Why can't Wednesday be here already?
Can I adopt the little chubby kid that Spike rescues? He's cute.

I'm super-excited for the hardcover, but looking at Amazon (both .com and .ca), I can't find it listed as coming out this Wednsday, which is sort of concerning.

Not concerning at all, Nolan. Amazon, in all its forms, never puts the correct release dates for graphic novels. They are on point with DVD dates and on the rare occasion book release dates, but they couldn't be farther off with comics. They said that the "Y: The Last Man Volume Ten" came out the first week of July... when it actuality, it came out the second week of June.

For comics and comic collections, trust the publisher's website and the blogs of creators/writers/artists. Dassit.
