Tomorrow! ANGEL:AFTER THE FALL volume 2!
The wackiest numbering in comic history, with FIRST NIGHT (aka VOLUME 2...even though it, for the most part, takes place before volume 1)...
...that aside, it is a beautiful book that I hope you enjoy. I know I did. I read it and was like "wow". And then I read the Groosablog again because that is the best.

Thankfully, there is a nice spot before work (which is, itself, before class) in the morning where I'll be able to pick up the book and have a nice hour and a half or so to read it. I just hope my store has it, because I know they had some trouble getting the first volume in on time. Cross your fingers for me! I will be VERY crabby at work if I haven't had a dosage of Groosablog.
But... but... Amazon says it doesn't come out until the 29th! What's up with that?
I hope my shop gets this tomorrow (my nearby comic shop is small...and well kind of sucks). Can't wait to get it!
anonymous-
comic stores get their books usually two weeks before they end up in bookstores and on Amazon.
Plus, Amazon ususally takes a shot in the dark with their release dates. They had the first volume "released" on June 25th when it wasn't even put out until more than a month later.
My comic shop didn't have it. They said, for some reason, that it should ship tomorrow.
If my comic shop doesn't have it today (I have a feeling it won't), then I will probably check Barnes & Noble.
I bought it yesterday and I just want to say that the Groosablog intro was the greatest thing ever.
IDW does a really nice job with those hardcovers!
Man, I am having a hard time tracking this thing down. Of the four comic shops I called (I live in Milwaukee) none of them had it. In fact, they all said that it hasn't been released yet. One shop even told me that the first collection hasn't been released. When I told them I've had the first one for at least a month, they got angry and declared, "Yeah, well WE don't have it!" I even called my hometown comic shop a few hours away and it was the same old song: We don't have it, it hasn't been released, try back in a couple weeks.
Sheesh!
The only place I can find it is at the IDW site, but I don't want to pay a minimum of $12 for shipping. Same deal with TFAW. I even resorted to checking out Barnes and Noble...no luck.
Guess I won't be getting mine till the end of the month.

I'm not having any luck finding it either. I can't order offline, because I want to save money. Checking out another comic shop next week sometime, and then if they don't have it hopefully my nearby shop will get it this Wednesday.
