Next Thursday, September 4th!

ANGEL:AFTER THE FALL # 12. Because of Labor Day, it's not Wednesday, you see.

A full year's worth of ANGEL:ATF stories (more if you count SPIKE). Kinda proud.

Stephen Mooney KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK on this issue. Wait until you see.

Read it before the internet spoils it. Trust me on this one.

Wow. Only four left after that, huh?.... Wow.

What's really sad is what I'm most excited about in this issue: Amongst all the twists and turns in the story, there's one question I've sincerely wanted answered, and according to your outline in the hardcover, I finally get that answer in Issue 12.... So, I don't want you to actually say if you do it or not, but I really hope in this issue we finally get to learn the Dragon's name. Especially after George's reaction to it.

You should be proud. Congrats and awesome work!

i stopped buying the issues after number 7. i gave it as much of my money as i could bare, knowing how bad the arc is.

you should do what dark horse does which is let the writers from the show (joss, drew, jane, etc.) write the comics. leaving the writing to others has ruined it.

If the above post stays by "disappointed" stays, I just want to say that I couldn't disagree more. Angel and Spike AtF have been exciting, emotional, and surprising, and have really added to the development of all the major characters. Brian's contributions have added much to the 'verse. (And why read the author's blog if you stopped reading months ago?)
If the above post gets deleted, then the new above post will be my own. And I agree with myself that Brian has done awesome work and should be proud!

Re: "Dissapointed"

Dude, you're entitled to your opinion and if you're not enjoying "After the Fall" then by all means stop reading/buying it.

But why would you go to the trouble of writing whiney internet posts about it, on the author's blog no less? Brian doesn't go to your blog to tell you what a crappy job you are doing.

If Brian's writing isn't your cup of tea that's fair enough but you don't need to be a douchebag about it.

I for one am eagerly awaiting the next installment of "After the Fall", and can't wait to see how Angel deals with being pwned pretty badly by Gunn.

He's such a non fan that he sought out my blog? Oh Internet, you are crazy!

You do realize that Joss asked me to write it, right? Just checking.

And "Disappointed" if you wanna email me, I would really like you to write the intro for the next collected. No BS, let's make it happen! devarona@gmail.com

"dispointed" - If you don't like the comics, then why do you care enough to read the writer's blog? Do you have nothing better to do? I personally can't wait until Issue 12. I've also been pretty curious about the dragon's name myself. I tried to look at it with a magnifying glass and I still couldn't figure it out. I also wonder what happened to Kate.

that's hilarious Brian. I would love to see a forward intrtoduction to the next Angel TPB by a fan who thinks the comic isn't any good. Anywho, I was hesitant at first when I heard a "nobody" would be writing for Angel, but hey, I watch "Two and A Half Men" on occassion, so what the hell do I know? Keep up the good work and kudos to all your success Brian!

Ha! Brian, you are hilarious! Anyway, I'm really excited about this issue, and I for one think you are doing a fantastic job. I love these characters, and I feel that your are handling them perfectly. You simply understand them and their world, which is all I ask. I am also sorry that some people can't appreciate your work, and choose to seek you out and tell you about it.

Can't wait for #12!

I saw you put disappointed's comments on the back of the next collection. You know like:

READ THE COMIC BARNES AND NOBLE FILES UNDER 'EPIC ADVENTURES.' JUST LOOK WHAT OTHERS HAVE TO SAY:

"It definitely is...[a] comic."
-Stan Lee

"Brian's contributions have added much to the 'verse."
-sophie

"...leaving the writing to [Brain] has ruined [Angel]."
-disappointed

Does the Dragon even need a name? I thought his name was Dragon anyway, or something with D. Angel: After the Fall is the best comic i've ever read... of course you can't please everyone.
